Ski Rental

We recommend Flex Rent located directly across from the Sunnegga lift station (and Bus stop for MEX if you decide to go to the Glacier area or Italy) where you can rent skis, poles, boots, helmets and snowboard.
After ski, you can leave boots to dry there and skis so that you can simply walk home with your normal boots.

Where to eat

Lunch on the ski slopes

In high season, always book your lunch latest in the morning with Matterhorn App or Call.

Cross the border and enjoy Italian lunch :
Bontadini, Cervinia, my favorite restaurant (cross the self), Italian gourmet @3'100m (1 chairlift return but do not leave restaurant after 3pm)
Foyer des Guides, Valtournenche, excellent Val d'Aosta Italian food
NOTE : long to come back, book at noon and depart not after 2pm

On Zermatt side, so many good choices, few of our favorites :
Zum See, the best on the ski slopes
Fluhalp, good food, atmosphere, live music on weekends
Staffelalp, just under the North face of the Matterhorn
Chez Vrony, a must in Zermatt, to see and to be seen :-)
Adler Hitta, good and nice atmosphere with DJ
Findlerhof, very good food
Alp Hitta, Easy food, good atmosphere and live music on weekends
